Buffalo Collective on WIVB Celebrating Women
Reporter, Hope Winter from WIVB visited the Buffalo Collective Studio located at 223 S. Park in Buffalo today in honor of International Women's Day.
When asked why they started the holiday markets Jillian said, "Being a small business we know it is hard to get your products in front of a large audience. So we offer a huge variety that is great for the vendors and the shoppers - especially during the holiday season giving you the variety that Buffalo has to offer."
For women who are considering starting their own small business Jillian said, "Put yourself out there and reach out to other women that have been in the industry. There are so many resources out there that you don't think of initially. Putting yourself out to a larger audience will help to grow your business."
Alongside Buffalo Collective today were women owned businesses from across the area who provide everything from art to needle felting to photography and jewelry.
